    I am an Urban Curandera ~ partera (midwife), sobradora (massage therapist), minister, student of plant medicine, and creator of economic restoration to community. These are the five elements that create the foundation of my vocation. At one time I would have said that the archetype of the impoverished healer was also a part of this life (like not in those words, because who really says, " yeah, i have a lack conciousness, and I am damn proud!?" except for those making a point at the cost of themselves.) But today I am far more likely to say I am one prosperous woman, with a capital "P".

     I am a Chronic Entrepreneur. Today I recognize that I can have way more impact on social and economic issues when I have venture capital to start prosperous green business after green business. Creating green collar jobs in marginalized neighborhoods is a large part of my economic reconstruction, following the lead of role models like Majora Carter and the Bioneers.
